Singosari, East Java – Soldiers from the 2nd Infantry Division of Kostrad, part of the Garuda Contingent XXIII-R/UNIFIL Battalion 413/Bremoro, were welcomed home with pride after completing a one-year United Nations peacekeeping mission in Lebanon. A formal ceremony was held at the 2nd Kostrad Division Headquarters in Singosari, Malang, on Sunday (27/4/2025) to honor their service.

Major General TNI Susilo, Commander of the 2nd Infantry Division, praised the troops’ dedication and professionalism during their deployment.
"Welcome home. Your service as peacekeepers has brought honor to Indonesia on the global stage," he said.
During their mission, the contingent not only conducted security operations but also engaged in humanitarian efforts and community development, strengthening Indonesia’s reputation as a committed contributor to global peace.
Maj. Gen. Susilo emphasized that the experience would serve as a valuable foundation for future assignments, urging soldiers to uphold the principles of "hard work, smart work, and sincere service."
"The Indonesian Military (TNI) was born from the people, fights for the people, and returns to the people," he concluded.
The ceremony symbolized national pride, reflecting Indonesia’s active role in international peacekeeping.
