Due to logistical constraints, only the chairpersons and secretaries of each district MUI branch attended the event, representing the full body of appointees.
Following the inauguration, Regent Rusdi Sutejo (affectionately known as Mas Rusdi) personally congratulated each newly sworn-in administrator.
"Congratulations to all newly inaugurated MUI district administrators in Pasuruan Regency. I wish you success in formulating your five-year work programs," he stated.
The Regent emphasized MUI’s pivotal role as a frontline institution in preserving interfaith harmony and reinforcing Islamic doctrinal principles to guide future generations in accordance with religious teachings.
"MUI’s role in strengthening faith is indispensable—especially in reminding Pasuruan’s Muslim community to adhere firmly to the Quran and Hadith," he added.
On regional development, Mas Rusdi highlighted the need for input, critiques, and advice from MUI’s scholars, praising their "sincere dedication."
"As MUI comprises deeply committed individuals, we welcome constructive feedback to advance Pasuruan’s people-centric policies and programs," he concluded.
